All About Me, The Biz And My Family

Tucked inside a retired one‑room country schoolhouse on the edge of our family farm and the beautiful Sandhills, my studio is a little slice of Nebraska history with a whole lot of heart. After a freak summer storm in June 2018, the old schoolhouse got a well‑deserved facelift—fresh exterior, refreshed interior, and a renewed spirit that makes it the perfect home for Silver Star Photography.

I’m a boy mom to four of the most handsome young men on the planet, and life out here keeps me moving. We farm, we ranch, and we host events in our country chapel—there’s always something happening, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Outdoor sessions are my absolute favorite. There’s just something magical about real families, real moments, and real Nebraska light.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hunting, reading, watching the chickens and cows, or cheering on my boys in wrestling, 4‑H, and trap shooting. This life is full, beautiful, and a little wild—and it inspires every image I create.
