Kayla & Cody~Atkinson, NE Engagement PhotographerThis sweet young couple met me in Burwell, where we then traveled south to Fort Hartsuff near Elyria. They will be exchanging their wedding vows in this awesome State Historical Park and our plan was to scope out the location and get a feel for the place. A storm was brewing and arrived way too early. We first watched a dust storm roll just to the south of us until the wind hit the Cottonwood trees and the cotton flew-straight up our noses! Rain was not far behind, so we ventured inside the buildings (which are open for touring!) and we waited instead of running to the car and ruining their freshly ironed shirts and Kayla’s curly hair. When the rain cleared we ventured back to Burwell and stopped at the Burwell Livestock Market where Cody works with his family and the young couple began their basis of their relationship. Kayla had taken a job across the street from the Livestock Market at the Vet Clinic and they must have thought that each other was pretty cute, because the rest is history!!! Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding! jonesconeBlog18
